How do I purchase Urban Plates gift cards?
Physical Gift Cards are available for purchase at all Urban Plates locations. Physical gift Cards and e-Gift Cards are also available for purchase online (http://giftcards.urbanplates.com/).

What forms of payment do you accept?
In-store purchases: Cash, VISA, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover are accepted:
Online purchases: VISA, Mastercard, American Express and Discover are accepted. We do not accept payment by cash or check.

Do you charge sales tax on gift cards?
No.

Are there any hidden fees associated with purchasing an Urban Plates Gift Card?
No. You will only pay the face value of the Gift Card. Shipping fees may apply for physical Gift Cards purchased online depending on the chosen shipping method. E-Gift Cards are sent via email and incur no shipping charges.

In what dollar amounts are Urban Plates Gift Cards available?
Urban Plates Gift Cards are available in whole dollar denominations from $5 to $250.

Can I change the value of an Urban Plates Gift Card after purchase?
Physical Gift Cards (whether purchased in-store or online) can be reloaded at any Urban Plates location. E-Gift Cards cannot be reloaded.

Do Urban Plates gift cards expire?
No, our Gift Cards never expire.

What can I purchase with an Urban Plates Gift Card?
Our Gift Cards may be used toward any food or beverage item listed on our menu.

Where can I use an Urban Plates Gift Card?
Our Gift Cards may be used at any Urban Plates location.

Can I use an Urban Plates Gift Card for online orders?
Yes. Urban Plates gift cards can be used for online orders placed on our website (urbanplates.com) or the Urban Plates app. 

How do I use an E-Gift Card at Urban Plates?
E-Gift Cards from Urban Plates can be redeemed by printing out the E-Gift Card that is received, with barcode. Or you can redeem by pulling up the E-Gift Card on your smartphone. At the restaurant, they will scan the barcode in the email to redeem the value.

How do I check the balance of an Urban Plates Gift Card?
You can check the balance on the gift card by going to https://wwws-usa2.givex.com/cws4.0/urbanplates4/check-balance/ or by visiting any Urban Plates location.

Do you offer discounts on corporate or bulk orders of Gift Cards?
Currently we do not.

What are my shipping options and how long does it take to deliver a Gift Card?
Physical Gift Card:​ Shipping time for physical Gift Cards will vary depending on the delivery method selected. Current shipping options and rates: 

     • USPS First Class Mail - No tracking (7-10 business days): Free 
     • USPS Ground Advantage (5-7 business days): $5.55
     • USPS Priority Mail (3-5 business days): $10.45 
     • FedEx 2-Day (2 business days): $31.00

E-Gift Card:
E-Gift Cards are sent via email immediately after purchase.

Where can I ship my order?
Gift Cards may be shipped to valid street address within the United States.

P.O. Boxes?
We can only ship to P.O. Boxes via USPS First Class Mail.

Can I place a Gift Card order for international delivery?
No.

Can I place a Gift Card order if I have an international billing address?
No.

Can I place a Gift Card order if I have an APO or FPO address?
No.

Can I place a Gift Card order for delivery to an APO or FPO address?
We currently do not deliver to APO/FPO addresses.

Will I receive a confirmation email of my Gift Card order?
Yes. Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email with details of your order. Check spam and junk folders if email is not in your main inbox.

What should I do if I didn’t receive my e-gift card?
Check your spam and junk folders if the e-gift card is not in your main inbox. If you still can’t find it, please fill out the “contact us” form online.

Can I track my order of a physical gift?
If you selected USPS First Class Mail as your shipping method, tracking is not included. All other shipping methods include tracking.

Who should I contact if I have a question or problem with my Gift Card order?
Please fill out the “contact us” form online.

What happens if my Urban Plates Gift Card is lost or stolen?
Urban Plates is not responsible for the unauthorized use of your Urban Plates Gift Card. Please treat your Gift Card like cash. If lost or stolen, please fill out the “contact us” form online immediately. With original proof of purchase and Gift Card identification number, we can cancel the original Gift Card and issue a new Gift Card for the remaining balance.
