Where can I purchase an I Prefer Gift Card?
I Prefer Gift Cards are available for individual purchase online at giftcards.iprefer.com. For corporate orders, please contact the Preferred Hotel Group Sales team at offers@iprefer.com
 
In which currencies are I Prefer Gift Cards available for purchase?
I Prefer Gift Cards are available in United States Dollars (USD) only. 
 
Can I purchase multiple I Prefer Gift Cards? 
Yes, you may add multiple I Prefer Gift Cards to your cart at time of purchase. You may purchase up to 5 cards at a time, and up to US $2,000 in total value per transaction. Please note the maximum value a card may have is US $1,000.
 
Can I purchase a physical I Prefer Gift Card and have it shipped?
I Prefer Gift Cards are only available as digital eGift Cards. They are delivered via email. 
 
When will I receive my eGift Card?
eGift Cards are delivered within 1-3 business days of purchase, or on the selected future delivery date. If a manual order verification is needed, delivery could be delayed. 
 
Why have I still not received my eGift Card?
It may have delivered to your spam or junk email folder. Please check there first. If you are still unable to find your eGift Card, please contact our team for assistance.
 
Can I cancel my I Prefer Gift Card purchase?
I Prefer Gift Cards are nonrefundable.

Where can I use an I Prefer Gift Card? 
I Prefer Gift Cards can be used at most participating I Prefer hotels under these brands: Preferred Hotels & Resorts, Historic Hotels, and Beyond Green. 
I Prefer hotels in the following countries and regions DO NOT currently accept the I Prefer Gift Card: China, Japan, India, the Middle East, and Africa.
 
What can an I Prefer Gift Card be used for?
At participating properties, I Prefer eGift Cards may be used for eligible stays and select services. Gift cards may not be used for room tax, bookings made via Online Travel Agencies, banquets, events, or any pre-paid charges (including room charges). Please note that use of the I Prefer Gift Card is at the discretion of the hotel and may vary by property. It is recommended that you contact a hotel directly prior to your visit to confirm their gift card acceptance and guidelines. 
 
Will my Gift Card expire? 
No, Gift Cards do not expire.
 
Do I need to be a hotel guest to my I Prefer Gift Card?
Yes, you must be a registered guest at a property to pay with an I Prefer Gift Card for dining, spa, or other services. Acceptance policies may vary by property. It is recommended that you contact a hotel directly prior to your visit to confirm their gift card acceptance and guidelines. 
 
How do I use my I Prefer Gift Card?
I Prefer Gift Cards are ready to use immediately. Present the email (either printed or on your mobile device) that you received with the eGift Card Number to the hotel’s front desk upon check out. 
 
Can I use an I Prefer Gift Card to make a booking, either to guarantee or pre-pay for a room reservation?
No.
 
Can I use an I Prefer Gift Card at locations that do not accept payment in USD?
Yes. If the Gift Card is applied to a charge in a different currency than USD, the hotel will convert the card value at the current exchange rate. 
 
Do I have to use the entire value of the Gift Card at once?
No, your I Prefer Gift Card can be used for multiple transactions. The amount of each purchase will be deducted from the card balance until the full value has been redeemed.
 
What if my charges are greater than the value of my Gift Card?
If your hotel charges exceed the value of your Gift Card, you must pay the excess with another method of payment.
 
Can my I Prefer Gift Card be redeemed for cash?
I Prefer Gift Cards cannot be exchanged for cash, unless required by law.

How can I check the balance of my Gift Card?
Visit giftcards.iprefer.com and click on Check Balance.
 
What can I do if my Gift Card is lost or stolen?
If your lost or stolen I Prefer Gift Card has available funds, and the card was previously registered on giftcards.iprefer.com, you may report it to I Prefer Customer Service Team. The remaining balance of the reported card will be re-issued in that amount on a replacement eGift Card. 
Preferred Hotel Group is not responsible for any lost or stolen cards and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel any I Prefer Gift Card if there is perceived indication of fraudulent or unauthorized behavior.
