A. Gift Cards / eGift Cards can be used throughout The Newbury Boston, including our venues The Street Bar and Contessa.
Q. What can a Newbury Boston Gift Card / eGift Card be used for?
A. Gift Cards / eGift Cards may be added to your folio upon check-out to pay for expenses incurred while in residence, including your stay, personal dining, or presented to your server at The Street Bar and Contessa upon receiving the bill.
Q. Do I have to be staying at the hotel to use my Gift Card / eGift Card?
A. No, Gift Cards / eGift Cards can be used to pay for dining on property even if you are not a guest.
Q. Does the entire value of the Gift Card / eGift Card have to be redeemed at once?
A. No, Gift Cards / eGift Cards may be used multiple times until the entire value has been redeemed.
Q. Will I receive cash back if I do not spend the entire value of the Gift Card / eGift Card?
A. Gift Cards / eGift Cards are not redeemable for cash except when otherwise required by law.
Q. What if the total bill exceeds the value of my Gift Card / eGift Card?
A. If your bill exceeds the amount of your Gift Card / eGift Card, you are responsible for the remaining amount with another form of payment.
Q. Can I redeem more than one Gift Card / eGift Card in a single transaction?
A. Yes, you may use multiple Gift Cards / eGift Cards to pay for stays, services and purchases.
Q. How do I present an eGift Card at The Newbury Boston?
A. The email or purchase receipt containing the eGift Card number will need to be presented at the time of transaction. This may be a physical printout or an image on an electronic device.

A. Yes, you may purchase as many Gift Cards / eGift Cards as you want, up to $10,000. Please note the maximum value a card may have is $2,000.

A. Gift Cards / eGift Cards are available to purchase in USD.
Q. Can my Gift Card be shipped internationally?
Q. How long will it take to receive my Gift Card / eGift Card?
A. eGift Card delivery is within 1-3 business days of your purchase or on the future send date selected. On rare occasions, delivery could take longer if a manual review is required. Gift Card delivery time depends upon the destination and delivery service you select.

Q: I ordered an eGift Card, but I never received it.
A: Please check you junk or spam folder as sometimes email can be delivered there by mistake. If you have still not received your eGift Card, please contact email@example.com.
Q. How do I cancel my Gift Card / eGift Card purchase?
A. Orders placed online can be refunded up to 60 days from purchase as long as the GiftCard has it full value. If Gift Card has been shipped, please note the shipping cost will not be refunded. To cancel the order, please call 617-535-5700 to speak with the Front Desk agent.

A. Yes, our Gift Cards / eGift Cards expire after 7 years per Massachusetts state law.
Q. Can I check the balance on my Gift Card / eGift Card?
A. Yes, you can check the balance online at thenewburyboston.com/gift-cards
Q. Can I replace my Gift Card / eGift Card if lost or stolen?
A. Yes, if previously registered at thenewburyboston.com/gift-cards.
Q. What if I locate the Gift Card / eGift Card that I have reported as lost or stolen?
A. Once the card has been reported as lost or stolen, the card is deactivated and the balance is transferred to a new, registered Newbury Boston card. The old card has no value and can no longer be used.
